About Us

Micron Laboratories is a comprehensive clinic offering many solutions for the problem of hair loss. Founded in 1985 by Biologist David Robson, Micron Labs boasts locations across Canada and the U.S., and a satisfied client commensurate with their success. Micron does not promise miracle cures, but rather strives to provide clients with information and realistic solutions, believing that intelligent decisions can only be made by informed customers.

Unfortunately, some people put off seeking help due to a sense of hopelessness, or a lack of information, unaware that the longer one allows the problem to progress, the narrower one's choices become.

During the initial consultation at Micron Labs, the consultant takes the time to explain to each client the complexities of their individual problem and educate them about the process of hair growth. They begin this educational process with an in-depth Microscopic Hair Analysis (MHA) test which takes about an hour. During this analysis, the scalp is visually examined, and any topical problems are identified. Contributing factors are assessed, since hair loss may occur for many reasons, such as surgery, stress, fever, genetic background, diet, harmful shampoos, coloring solutions, perming solutions, drugs, medicines, hormones, illness and others. Hair samples from the weaker and stronger areas are analysed and compared under a high powered microscope. The acceleration of the hair shedding problem is also assessed.

The consultant will then make a recommendation for treatment. Several options are available, but Micron emphasizes their Natural Treatment Program as the preferred method for those whose hair loss problems have not reached the advanced stages. An ideal candidate is someone who is beginning to suffer hair loss, but still has some hair. This highly successful program is carefully customized to each individual, and is maintained from three to six months up to a year, depending on the severity of the problem. The treatment focuses on restoring both the follicle and the scalp to optimum health.

It is reassuring to learn that a genetic predisposition does not mean that a person will go bald. It does indicate that that person could be susceptible to hair loss if certain factors are triggered, but having a history of hair loss does not indicate hopelessness. Help is available.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
